  • Device Information: We may collect information about your device, including device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
  • Device Identifiers: We use device identifiers (such as device IDs) for subscription management through RevenueCat. This information is shared with RevenueCat to manage your premium subscription and identify your device.
  • Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, such as features used and time spent in the App.
  • Crash Logs: If the App experiences crashes or errors, crash logs may be collected and shared with crash reporting services to help us diagnose and fix issues. This data is used for analytics and app improvement purposes.

Third-Party Services

AI Services: FindDocAI uses third-party AI services (OpenAI, Groq, Gemini, Hugging Face) for document summarization and text processing. When you choose to use AI features like summarization, the text content of your document is temporarily sent to these services for processing only. The text is not stored on our servers, and your original documents remain on your device. Please review their privacy policies:

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the App's functionality

  • 100% Local Storage: All your documents, images, and data are stored exclusively on your device. We do not maintain any servers to store your documents.
  • No Cloud Sync: FindDocAI does not sync your documents to any cloud service. Your documents remain on your device only.
  • Privacy First: Since your documents never leave your device (except for temporary AI processing when you explicitly use those features), your privacy is maximized.
  • Security: Your documents are protected by your device's security measures. We recommend keeping your device secure with a passcode or biometric lock.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • AI Service Providers: When you use AI features (like summarization), document text is temporarily sent to third-party AI services (OpenAI, Groq, Gemini, Hugging Face) for processing. These services process the text and return results, but we do not store your documents on their servers.
  • Subscription Management: Device identifiers are shared with RevenueCat to manage your premium subscription and identify your device across app sessions.
  • Crash Reporting: Crash logs and diagnostic data may be shared with crash reporting services to help us diagnose and fix app issues.
  • Payment Processing: Subscription payments are processed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). We do not have access to your payment information.
  • Legal Requirements: Since we do not store your documents, we have no documents to disclose. We may disclose device or usage information if required by law.

Your Rights and Choices

  • Access: You can access your documents and data through the App.
  • Deletion: You can delete documents and data directly from the App.
  • Permissions: You can manage app permissions through your device settings.
  • Subscription Management: You can manage your subscription through the App Store or Google Play Store.

Children's Privacy

FindDocAI is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
